Our
History
The Arizona Hepatitis C
Coalition began with the goal of reducing the number of persons infected
and increasing the management options for those infected with hepatitis C
statewide.
The coalition formed
following an intensive two day training in Phoenix facilitated by Alan
Franciscus, founder of the Hepatitis
C Support Project. Members of the Coalition include
representatives from a variety of community and state agencies, as well as
interested community members, who are determined to create a statewide
alliance for HCV issues.

Your support is critical to
spread the message of prevention and increase access to care for
individuals who test positive. How?
Coalition meetings are held
monthly (Please see our calendar or dates
and times.) and all interested individuals are
invited to attend. If you are interested in receiving reminder announcements of
the time and place of our meeting each month please send an us an
email requesting
to
be added to our email list.
Hepatitis C "Train the
Trainer" classes are offered by the Arizona Department of Health Services
on a regular basis. If you are interested in attending a class
please contact
Andrea or
Roxanne
at ADHS.
The Coalition is always in
need of qualified persons (professionals or community people who have
been trained) to join "Working Groups" to assist with ongoing projects
including health fairs, fundraising, public awareness and more.
